The Gmail Label Getter is a simple Google Sheets Add-On that imports emails with the same label from Gmail into a spreadsheet. The script will import up to 100 of the most recent emails.

Using the Gmail Label Getter

Step 1: Add Label to Desired Emails

In Gmail, select the emails you wish to add to your spreadsheet. You can use Gmail’s Advanced Search functionality to filter your list of emails and add your desired label to all of the emails at one time.

Step 2: Install Add-On

Open a Google Sheet, and go to “Add-ons” > Get Add-ons and search for “Gmail Label Getter”. Click the “Install” button on the Gmail Label Getter add-on page on the G Suite Marketplace.

Step 3: Launch Label Getter

After installing the add-on a new menu will appear on your Google Sheet. Open the “Get Email by Label” menu and select “Launch Label Getter.”

Step 4: Select Label

Select your desired label from the available list of labels and click “Get Emails.”

Once the script is completed, a new sheet will be created that is populated with up to 100 emails. If you want, you can select another label populate as many sheets as you desire.
